Craig Niehaus, Plant Services Maintenance Technician

Since joining Greenwood Village South in December 2024, Craig has consistently shown exceptional dedication to our residents, team members, and community. As our second‑shift security and maintenance technician, he has quickly become known for his reliability, responsiveness, and willingness to step in wherever needed.

Craig was nominated by Pavilion Administrator Pam Seegers after an extraordinary display of commitment during a challenging overnight HVAC issue in the Pavilion Health Center. When multiple air‑conditioning units repeatedly failed, Craig responded immediately and stayed throughout the night, manually resetting the units each time they malfunctioned until technicians arrived the next morning. He remained well beyond his scheduled shift to ensure resident comfort and minimize disruption.

This moment reflects what so many at GVS already know about Craig: he consistently goes above and beyond. Whether coming in early, staying late, or picking up extra shifts, Craig can always be counted on. He is highly resident‑focused, supportive of his fellow team members, and approaches every task with care, attention to detail, and genuine devotion to those we serve.

Craig’s actions embody our Hospitality Promises and our commitment to Extraordinary Impressions and Extraordinary Impact. He leads through action, takes ownership, and quietly models servant leadership every day.

In addition to his full‑time role at GVS, Craig also supports his family’s rental property business, demonstrating his remarkable work ethic. He is married, a proud father of six, and a grandfather to five.
